Nature Baby

I don’t know about you, but I always feel so much better after spending time immersed in nature. It came as no surprised when I recently read an article by Jim Robbins that says there’s scientific research that proves this.

A growing body of research points to the beneficial effects that exposure to the natural world has on health, reducing stress and promoting healing.” *

In fact study’s now quantify this and say 120 minutes a week** is the time we need immersed in nature to reap the benefits.

If something has bothered me, I always feel a million times lighter if I just get out and go for a walk. Even better if I can head off for a bush walk. I love just standing outside barefoot, feeling the earth beneath my feet. I love tuning into the sounds of nature, focussing on different bird’s song particularly. I find taking in natural, beautiful landscapes nourishes my soul. Nature provides food for my body and soul and I will never take this for granted.

What do you do to connect with Nature?
