Blissful winter weekend

Yoga @ Thrive – Weekend Retreat

28th-30th May 2021

I am excited to announce the first Wairarapa yoga retreat of 2021 @ Thrive, May 28th-30th. Thrive retreat centre is nestled at the base of the Tararua Forest Park. It is the perfect place to unwind and envelop yourself in rural Wairarapa tranquility. I am lucky to have this all 17 mins from my home but if you are heading over the hill from Wellington it’s only a 90min journey.

Need a boost this winter? The yoga retreat @ Thrive is the perfect weekend experience. You can recharge the batteries, revitalising mind, body and soul. With a small retreat group of 8-12 people you can be sure to have the space you need. Yoga, massage and immersion in nature, it’s my idea of bliss.

During the weekend you will enjoy relaxing yoga nidra, gentle restorative yoga and deliciously snuggly yin yoga sessions. Throughout all sessions we will be warmed by the roaring log fires. Keeping you warm and toasty, relaxed and cosy is my priority. There will be nourishing, locally sourced, vegetarian food prepared for you. You will have enough free time to walk in nature, read, sleep, relax and unwind or add in some optional extra treats.

For those that love walking in the outdoors, it’s all there for you, literally right on the doorstep. There will be the opportunity to book in for a therapeutic massage with an on-site masseuse or the option to go horse trekking if you are feeling a little more adventurous. Please let me know in advance if you would like to book.

There are options for all budgets, all of which I have tried to make as affordable as possible. Choose from your own king bed in a private room with ensuite, a twin share with or without ensuite or a triple share for best value. Prices range from $360-$465 p/p for the weekend depending on the accommodation choice. Take a look at the Thrive website to see photos of the accommodation.
